Kangaroo accompanies the 2014 Start-up Festival

The most important event of the start up festival is to honor the 11 most talented projects of the 2013 Startup Contest and the Launching Program of start up contest 2014. The program will be broadcast live on VTV1 – Vietnam Television.

The year 2014 marked the time when the Constitution was amended to come into effect with the appearance of “the legitimate businessman in the Constitution.” In line with the Politburo’s Resolution No.09-NQ/TW, the role of the Vietnamese business community in promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration has been promoted. Speaking at the opening, Mr. Vu Tien Loc – President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chief of the Program Steering Committee emphasized:

 ”We always wish to have a large business team to develop our economy. To have a large team, it is necessary to have many people have to do business and to have many people doing business, there must be students, young people who have the desire to set up business by way of business. Therefore, in order to inspire aspirations and dreams for youths and students, VCCI has cooperated with ministries, agencies, organizations and enterprises, enthusiastic business persons to carry out start-up programs with many activities such as launching the spirit of start-up business, opening a training course on start-up business, providing consultancy on start-up projects, calling for investment support for start-up projects. The start-up program has become a cradle of active contribution to the development of our business team”, said Vu Tien Loc.

In the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 best projects in 2013. The winning projects this year are not only judged by their unique and innovative ideas but also viable and high social significance. This is also the criteria that the start-up festival appraisal board attaches great importance to this year. In 2013, among the projects selected in the final round, many have been deployed practically.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – CEO of Kangaroo Group – Member of the Board of Executives of 2013 said: Kangaroo Group is honored to be accompanied with the program of start-up in the past 11 years. Through a series of national start-up programs, Kangaroo Group wishes to co-operate and support young start-ups. These will be elite generations, future employers that build and enrich the country. It is also one of the significant social activities that the Kangaroo Group is always aiming for.

Hopefully, in 2014, the start-up  program will continue to be a success and continue to be a driving force for dreams and aspirations to enrich the young generation of Vietnam.
