The technology revolution 4.0 is being talked about in the media and focused by the governments as an opportunity to boost the economy. Catching up this trend, the giant Kangaroo Group has said that it successfully developed the IoT ecosystem applied to the Group’s products.

IoT is an inevitable trend

According to Ericsson Mobility Report, by 2021, it is expected to have 28 billion connected devices, in which there are 15 billion IoT connected devices, including M2M devices such as smart meters, on-road sensors, retailers, consumer electronic equipment such as TV, DVR, etc. The remaining 13 billion devices are mobile phones, laptops, tablets.

By 2019, as estimated by IDC, the world will spend US$ 1,300 for IoT. Until 2020, according to Gartner’s estimate, IoT’s added value will be US$ 1,900. And by 2025, IoT will contribute to the global economy of US$ 11 trillion, according to McKinsey.

According to a Microsoft’s survey, Vietnamese young people hope that IoT has the greatest impact on their future. Young people will participate in 3 scenarios provided by IoT: Smart houses where main applications can “communicate” with each other (36%); Intelligent buildings can optimally use energy according to the changes in weather and number of owners (29%); Adjustable traffic system in real time to reduce congestion (23%).

Talking about the importance and investment of the government for the development of IoT, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam emphasized: “Internet of Things or IoT is not a new concept in the modern technology world. The tremendous benefits that IoT brings to the economic development, and serves life make IoT a technological trend in the past, at present and in the future”.

Kangaroo leads the game

With an impressive statement “do not confront and always go ahead”, Kangaroo’s production and business activities have partly reflected the value of this statement. Just stirring up the community with the first Hydrogen water purifier in Vietnam in May, Kangaroo continues to announce that it has successfully developed the IoT ecosystem and will launch IoT application product at the end of this month, therefore, Kangaroo will be the pioneering Vietnamese enterprise appling IoT to household products.

Kangaroo’s IoT application products promises to be the most expected product in this winter

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Kangaroo’s Global General Director expressed “The world has gone through 3 inevitable industrial revolutions, and the society cannot operate without such elements as electricity, computer, automation, etc. The revolution 4.0 is also an indispensable development of technology, and I think that it will happen faster and explore than ever. IoT is a combination of technologies that blurs the boundaries of techniques, engineering, physics, biology, and human.”

Mr. Phuong also said that Kangaroo’s mission is to develop products for health and living facilities, free up labor and increase the amount of gray matter per product. Therefore, IoT is also one of the value chains that Kangaroo brings to consumers which is convenience, connection and tracking product status in an accurate and continuous manner, and communicating with product every time and everywhere. This is really necessary and useful because when the society becomes busier, and people need to release more energy for development, IoT will replace the human brain to process all related commands.

Not mentioning any specific product, Mr. Phuong said that it promises to be the most expected device in this winter and it would be available on the market on October 25th.
